Dwayne Washington carries Washington to big victory in Apple Cup

To say Washington running back Dwayne Washington and his fitting last name had a big impact on Saturday night’s Apple Cup would be an understatement. On Washington’s second play from scrimmage, Washington took it 51 yards to the house. On Washington’s second play of the second half, Washington outdid himself, scampering 60 yards to paydirt. Both touchdowns are in the video above.

Washington finished the night with 135 yards and two scores on 16 carries in a 31-13 win for Washington over Washington State. Enough Washingtons for you?
