Vote for this week's 'Leader of the Pac'
Hot 'n fresh out of the kitchen, this week's batch of #LeaderOfThePac features stars from the NCAA soccer and volleyball tournaments, plus two early standouts from the Pac-12 hardwood. It's your vote below that determines the winner. Here are this week's nominees:
- Stanford middle blocker Inky Ajanaku: Had 9 kills in Stanford's 3-0 victory over Florida to advance to the Final Four. Those kills put the junior over the 1,000 kill mark for her career.
- UCLA goalkeeper Earl Edwards, Jr.: The star goalie had 2 saves in UCLA's tense semifinal win over Providence on Friday and then had a shutout through regulation and overtime in UCLA's national championship match with Virginia, before they lost on penalty kicks.
- Cal guard Tyrone Wallace: The Pac-12 Player of the Week averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2.5 steals in Cal's wins over Wyoming and Princeton this week.
- Washington center Robert Upshaw: Had 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks in just 21 minutes of UW's 81-77 win over Eastern Washington on Sunday.
