Oregon fell to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship 42-20 Monday night, and Tyson Alger of The Oregonian writes that Oregon ran out of magic in an injury-plagued season. That said, Heather Dinich of ESPN writes that the season is still a success for Marcus Mariota. After the loss, Mariota said he isn’t thinking about the NFL draft and whether or not he’ll enter it. If you ask John Canzano, though, he’d tell you that Ohio State’s victory gives Mariota a reason to come back. Congratulations to the Buckeyes on winning the natty.
