The No. 1 USC men's tennis team fired off a comeback victory to kick off its 2015 campaign today, capturing a 6-1 win over visiting UC Riverside at Marks Stadium. The Highlanders drew first blood in the season opener by snagging the doubles point, but the Trojans regrouped and rang up a run of six straight-set singles victories to cruise to a 1-0 start to the year. Sophomore Rob Bellamy would stand tall as the clincher in this one, while USC true freshmen Thibault Forget and Tanner Smith notched their first career dual-match wins as Trojans.
