Bruins Beat Aztecs, 13-4

The victory raised the Bruins' overall record to 19-1 and the Aztecs fell to 13-13. It was UCLA's first win over SDSU this season.
A fast start gave the Bruins a lead they would never see threatened. UCLA scored four goals in the first quarter and three in the second before SDSU got on the board at 4:52 of the third period. Nine different players scored for the Bruins, including six in the first half when they built a 7-0 lead.
Senior Danielle Ferraro got the scoring started at 5:49 in the first period, followed by junior Rachel Fattal's goal at 4:10. Junior Kodi Hill connected on an exclusion goal at 3:04 and Alys Williams finished the scoring with a goal at 2:22.
Sophomore Mackenzie Barr (4:47) and Hill (1:00) each scored power play goals in the second quarter. Sophomore Ashley Zwirner also scored at 2:06.
UCLA returns to MPSF play in a week, traveling to Arizona State for a 1 p.m. game on Apr. 4.
