WEEKEND SERIES: Pac-12 leader No. 2-ranked UCLA, which has won nine-straight series this year, is at Stanford...in a top-20 matchup, No. 10-ranked USC, one of five teams in the national top-20, enters the week 2.5 games back in the standing and is at No. 20 Oregon State... No. 16-ranked Cal, following two-straight series losses is at Arizona, as the Wildcats continue to have the Pac-12’s top hitter and are the top hitting team... Tennessee Tech is at No. 5-ranked Arizona State in a non-conference affair in the desert ... Washington is at Oregon as the Huskies are 1.5 games in front of the Ducks for seventh place... Washington State is at Utah, as both teams have five Pac-12 wins.

SOME STAT NOTABLES: USC’s Bobby Stahel is on a 21-game hit streak, while Washington’s Braden Berry saw his 16-game hit streak end on Tuesday... Arizona’s Bobby Dalbec has reached base safely in all 37 games this season... Ryan Kellogg improved to 18-2 in Pac-12 games in his career with a win at Washington.. OSU’s Andrew Moore now has a 1.40 ERA, the best among Pac-12 starters, following a win over Arizona... of the Pac-12’s four seven-game winners, two are relievers (Bur and WSU’s Matt Bower) and two are starters (Kellogg and UCLA’s James Kaprielian)... UCLA’s David Berg (0.96) has the third-lowest ERA in the nation... Dalbec’s 12 homers ranks fifth in the NCAA, two behind national leader Andrew Benintendi from Arkansas... Scott Kingery’s .440 average to enter the week is second nationally... despite an off week, Arizona still ranks seventh nationally in batting entering the week... UCLA has the third-best strikeout to walk ratio in the nation (4.2 to 1)

STOPPER OF THE YEAR: Three players were on the NCBWA Stopper of the Year midseason list including UCLA’s David Berg (0.98 ERA and 8 saves through Monday), ASU’s Ryan Burr (7-1, 2.76 ERA and 11 saves through Monday) and WSU’s Ian Hamilton (2.76 ERA and 9 saves through Monday).
