• 2015 Pac-12 Tennis Championships Central

OJAI, Calif. - All top-seeded doubles teams made it through to the semifinals of the 2015 Pac-12 Women’s Tennis Championships, while the singles will feature two unseeded players, including USC’s Zoë Scandalis who knocked off No. 2 seed Chanelle Van Nguyen of UCLA to reach the semifinal bout. 

The semifinals of both the women’s singles and doubles championships will take place at Libbey Park in Ojai, Calif., tomorrow, Saturday, April 25. The doubles semifinals will begin at 9 a.m. PT, with the top-seeded duo of Taylor Davidson and Carol Zhao of STANFORD taking on No. 3 Maegan Manasse and Denise Starr of CALIFORNIA. The other doubles semifinal will see Stanford’s fourth-seeded Caroline Doyle and Ellen Tsay against No. 2 Klara Fabikova and Zsofi Susanyi of Cal. The singles semifinal matches will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. PT, and will feature USC’s top-seeded Giuliana Olmos against No. 4 Klara Fabikova of CALIFORNIA in one match, while UCLA’s Catherine Harrison will face Scandalis in the other match.

In the invitational rounds, two UCLA players made it to the semifinals as Bruins Kaitlin Ray and Terri Fleming will face off tomorrow. ARIZONA STATE’s Joanna Smith will play Meredith Xepoleas of USC in the other match. In doubles, WASHINGTON’s Capucine Gregoire and Riko Shimizu will play COLORADO’s Alexandra Aiello and Nuria Ormeno Ruiz, while USC’s Gabriella DeSimone and Zoë Katz will play Jena Cheng and Sarah Richter of UTAH.
