Very nice – Kyle Bonagura points out that the UCLA athletics department is honoring its NFL draftees with billboards around town.

Word on the street is that Cal will name interim athletic director Mike Williams the full-time AD. The news was first reported by the San Francisco Chronicle.

Oregon alum Phyllis Francis took home gold in the 4x400 relay with the U.S. team at the IAAF/BTC World Relays in The Bahamas this past weekend. Francis ran the first leg in 51.40 seconds to keep Team USA even with Jamaica.
