Word on the street is that Cal will name interim athletic director Mike Williams the full-time AD. The news was first reported by the San Francisco Chronicle.

Oregon alum Phyllis Francis took home gold in the 4x400 relay with the U.S. team at the IAAF/BTC World Relays in The Bahamas this past weekend. Francis ran the first leg in 51.40 seconds to keep Team USA even with Jamaica.
