Pac-12 Announces 2015-16 Men’s Basketball Television Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Pac-12 Conference office announced today the 2015-16 Pac-12 Conference men’s basketball television package that features 224 men’s contests telecast to national and regional audiences.

Pac-12 Conference controlled games includes 153 games aired on the Pac-12 Networks (including eight Pac-12 Tournament games), 44 on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU, 23 games on FS1 (including three Pac-12 Tournament games) and two nationally each on FOX broadcast network and CBS. Additional appearances will be made through other conference television agreements and various in-season tournaments.

Every Pac-12 home contest will be televised during the 2015-16 season. The Pac-12 non-conference slate includes at least 37 games against teams that participated in last year’s NCAA Tournament, with 18 of those games being played in Pac-12 venues. The attractive non-conference Pac-12 home schedule includes games against perennial NCAA Tournament participants Kentucky, Baylor, Gonzaga, Texas, San Diego State, and BYU, as well as recent NCAA Tournament Cinderellas in Davidson, Hampton, Stephen F. Austin, Belmont and Valparaiso.

Pac-12 men’s basketball fans will get an early look at defending Pac-12 champion ARIZONA as the Wildcats showcase their 2015-16 squad in the annual Red-Blue scrimmage on the Pac-12 Network Saturday, Oct. 17. The Pac-12 Network will also televise several exhibition contests (OREGON, OREGON STATE, UTAH and CALIFORNA) before it tips off the regular season on Friday, Nov. 13 with nine games on the docket.

Pac-12 Conference television partner ESPN will televise the first-ever regular season contest in China when WASHINGTON squares off with Texas in Shanghai at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. With the time difference, the game will actually air in the United States on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET.

FOX Sports will televise its first Pac-12 home game of the season on FS1 when NCAA Elite Eight participant Gonzaga travels to WASHINGTON STATE on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. PT. In addition, FS1 will cap it’s coverage of the 2015-16 Pac-12 basketball season with its telecast of the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament championship game on Saturday, March 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
