Oregon's Wise Pac-12 Men's Golfer of the Month

SAN FRANCISCO – Aaron Wise of OREGON has been named the Pac-12 Men’s Golfer of the Month for September, the Pac-12 announced today.

Wise, a sophomore from Lake Elsinore, Calif., won his third collegiate tournament with a victory at The Jackrabbit (Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb.) as he fired a 7-under 209 (69-69-71). He became the fourth player in program history to reach the three-win mark and the second to reach three wins in two or less seasons.

Early in the month, he placed third at the Husky Invitational (Tumble Creek Golf Course in Cle Elum, Wash.) with a 4-under 209 (68-70-71) to help lead the Ducks to a tie for the team title.

In six rounds of play in September, Wise posted five rounds under par and one round at even par. His 69.67 stroke average is currently good for fifth in the country.
