UCLA's Law Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month

SAN FRANCISCO – Bronte Law of UCLA has been named the Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Month for October, the Pac-12 Conference announced today.

Law, a junior from Stockport, England, claimed her fourth individual title and second-consecutive victory at the Stanford Intercollegiate. At the event hosted by Condoleezza Rice, Law shot an 8-under 205 (67-70-68) winning by three strokes. Law earned the same score at last year’s tournament.

In the final round, Law recorded six birdies with bogeys on the 7th, 11th, and 15th. Law led the field with 16 birdies and a tournament best 5-under on the par 4’s. UCLA finished 3rd (+8, 855) and Stanford won the tournament with a score of 847 (-5).

Also nominated for golfer of the month honors were Ashlee Pickerell, Sr., OREGON STATE; Karen Chung, Jr., USC; Julianne Alvarez, Fr., WASHINGTON.
