UCLA

Impressive stuff from UCLA in its 41-0 shellacking of Oregon State Saturday afternoon, and quarterback Josh Rosen is in “complete control” as UCLA enters the fourth quarter of the regular season, writes Jack Wang. He has thrown 131 straight passes without a pick.

Stanford

After his 220 all-purpose-yard performance against Colorado Saturday, Christian McCaffrey is No. 2 in Stewart Mandel’s Heisman Trophy power rankings. The Cardinal obliterated Colorado 42-10 in Boulder to move to 8-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play. A win against Oregon or Cal gives Stanford a berth in the Pac-12 Football Championship Game.

Utah

After the Utes’ 34-23 win over Washington Saturday night (first win in program history against the Dawgs), Kyle Goon writes that Utah football has been a good fourth-quarter team. The 8-1 Utes have outscored opponents 91-51 in the nine fourth quarters they’ve played this season and have not been outscored in any fourth quarter this year.

Oregon

Ted Miller outlines the recent history of the Oregon-Stanford series, noting that one team has been unranked going into the last two meetings (at least AP-wise this year, maybe Oregon sneaks into the new CFP Top 25 on Tuesday). Oregon dispatched of Cal 44-28 Saturday evening to make Saturday’s game on The Farm still mean something with respect to the Pac-12 North standings.

Washington State

Jacob Thorpe looks back at Washington State’s 38-24 win over Arizona State, a triumph that made the Cougs bowl eligible for the second time in three seasons.

Arizona State

Here’s a little silver lining, Sun Devil fan – the Pac-12 announced that the officials made a mistake in the second quarter of the Arizona State-Washington State game, incorrectly replaying a fourth down after what was ruled an inadvertent whistle. Instead of turning the ball over on downs, the Cougars went on to score a touchdown.

USC

Lindsey Thiry of the Los Angeles Times details the five things we learned from USC’s 38-30 win over Arizona. Ronald Jones II set the freshman single-game rushing record with 177 yards on just 19 carries.

California

Cal rugby won its fourth straight Pac 7s rugby title Sunday, and here are the highlights. The Golden Bears beat the Bruins 17-5 in the championship game.

Colorado

Time to turn the page after the Stanford loss for Colorado, because the Buffs have to keep their focus in a short week with USC coming to town for a Friday nighter (Brian Howell).

Oregon State

After watching the Beavs’ 41-0 loss to UCLA at Reser, Ken Goe of The Oregonian/OregonLive writes that it’s going to take a while for things to get better for Oregon State.

Washington

Looking ahead to Saturday, Seattle Times reporter Adam Jude notes that Washington and Arizona State will look to inch towards bowl eligibility in Saturday’s game. Both teams are 4-5, so the loser would have to win its final two games to get to six wins.

Arizona

College basketball season begins for real on Friday, and to get us ready, Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports gives us his Pac-12 men’s basketball season preview, picking Arizona to win the conference.
