The stage is set for Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara - the battle between the Pac-12's North and South will double as a battle between California's north and south.

By virtue of their commanding 40-21 victory in the Crosstown Showdown, the USC Trojans clinched the Pac-12 South division title Saturday, setting up a Pac-12 Football Championship Game match-up between the Trojans and the Stanford Cardinal on Dec. 5.

The Bruins survived their initial test last week, staving off elimination from the Pac-12 South race with a road win over Utah. But they couldn't get it done against their crosstown rivals in their final regular season game, keeping them from a 3rd Pac-12 South title and a trip to Santa Clara. The Bruins now wait to see where they're headed for the postseason.

For the first time in program history, the USC Trojans are off to the Pac-12 Football Championship Game. Their huge victory over rival UCLA on Saturday afternoon gave them a Pac-12 South title for the first time since the conference expanded to 12 teams. It sets them up for a Dec. 5 showdown in Northern California against the Stanford Cardinal, the champions of the Pac-12 North.
