LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The No. 6 nationally ranked Arizona sand volleyball team downed Stanford, 4-1 in the Pac-12 BVB Championships Team Bracket play. The Sand Cats now hold a (16-3) record. UA got off to a strong start as they got two-set sweeps at the Nos. 1, 4 and 5 positions.

Arizona's No. 1 tandem of Madison and Mckenna Witt got a well-earned win as they battled against Stanford's No. 1 team of Payton Chang and Hayley Hodson, (21-17, 21-11).

Meanwhile on court two, Wildcats' No. 2 duo of Jianna Bonomi and Katarina Schulz took the match to three sets, securing the win in the third set as they defeated Catherine Raquel and Ivana Vanjak, (19-21, 21-18, 15-11).

The Sand Cat's No. 3 pair of Olivia Macdonald and Samantha Manley fought hard, but dropped to the Cardinal's tandem of Merete Lutz and Halland McKenna in straight sets, (13-21,14-21).

After a battle in the second set, UA's No. 4 duo of Mia Mason and Kalei Mau earned a victory against No. 4 team of Courtney Bowen and Jenn DiSanto, (21-10, 24-22).

Arizona's No. 5 team of Hailey Devlin and MacKenzie Kleespies would then go on to defeat the Cardinal's duo of Tami Alade & Karina Robinson, (21-8, 21-10) to secure the win for The Wildcats'.
