California

Bruce Feldman reports that former Texas Tech quarterback Davis Webb is transferring to Cal. It was originally thought that he was going to go to Colorado after he signed financial aid papers with the Buffs (nothing binding though), but he decided to take his talents to Berkeley instead.

Oregon

Oregon men’s golf advanced to the NCAA Championships after posting its lowest score of the season on Wednesday to finish second in the Tucson Regional. The Ducks are one of five Pac-12 men’s golf teams playing in the NCAA Championships alongside Arizona State, Cal, Stanford and USC.

Washington

While the men’s golf team just missed making the NCAA Championships, Washington women’s golf has a shot of winning the national title, opines Scott Hanson of The Seattle Times. The NCAA Women’s Golf Championships begin Friday in Eugene.

Oregon State

Gina Mizell reports that Oregon State women’s basketball coach Scott Rueck signed a two-year contract extension through the 2021-22 season. Well deserved, obviously.

USC

Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel conducts a Q&A with USC football coach Clay Helton. The two talk about his upcoming first year as full-time head honcho and how he will use Adoree’ Jackson, among other things.

Colorado

Former Colorado men’s basketball player Tre’Shaun Fletcher is transferring to Toledo, Pat Rooney reports.

Arizona State

Connor Pelton of House of Sparky breaks down how Arizona State baseball turned its season around. The Sun Devils have won nine of their last 12 conference games after a 4-8 start to Pac-12 play.

UCLA

Travis Hines of NBC Sports takes a look ahead to the upcoming UCLA men’s basketball season, one that is sure to be pressure-filled for Steve Alford after a losing 2015-16 campaign. He’ll have four returners who averaged double figures last year to go along with two top-20 recruits.

Arizona

Michael Lev of the Arizona Daily Star features Arizona baseball junior Bobby Dalbec, who is having a great year on the mound but has been struggling at the plate.

Utah

Kyle Goon features Utah softball outfielder Ally Dickman, the younger sister of the graduated former Ute softball player Kate Dickman. Ally has hit a solid .290 in her freshman season this year (not quite the .431 her older sister hit in 2015, but still, really good work for a rook).

Washington State

Washington State baseball opens a four-game series against McNeese State Thursday, and here are the game notes. Doubleheader on Friday.

Stanford

Melissa Jacobs of Sports Illustrated believes Andrew Luck is the quarterback with the most to prove in 2016. The Colts were 6-3 without him and just 2-5 with him in 2015 after a great first three seasons in the NFL for the former Stanford signal caller.
