Roundup: Arizona baseball is back in Omaha

Arizona baseball is off to the College World Series after a Super Regional-clinching 6-5 11-inning win at Mississippi State on Saturday. It is the Wildcats’ first trip to Omaha since 2012, when they won it all.

The Oregon women took second place at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships despite earning more points this year than when it won the NCAA title last year (the Arkansas women and Florida men won the national team titles). Hats off to Ariana Washington for becoming the first frosh in meet history to win the 100m and 200m.

Meanwhile, the USC women tied for ninth at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships despite a baton drop in the 4x400m relay.
