Amanda Calvo of Time tells us that Twitter went crazy over Andre De Grasse and Usain Bolt’s “Olympic bromance.” The Trojan and Bolt flashed each other grins as they crossed the line in the 200-meter semis (both advanced to the finals).

After a disappointing loss in the semis, Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross got the bronze medal in the beach volleyball tournament by defeating another pair from Brazil. Also, Stanford women’s volleyball was picked to finish first in the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll. UCLA and Washington were slotted second and third, respectively.
