Roundup: AP WNBA honors for the Ogwumike sisters

A big day for Stanford women’s basketball and the Ogwumike’s – Nneka Ogwumike was named Associated Press WNBA Player of the Year, while sister Chiney Ogwumike was named the AP’s Comeback Player of the Year.

Kevin Love made a record donation to UCLA’s Mo Ostin Basketball Center project, matching the largest donation made by a former Bruin hooper, which just so happens to be his former teammate, Russell Westbrook. Love will be honored at the UCLA-Stanford football game during the first quarter break.

Former USC quarterback Cody Kessler will start at QB for the Cleveland Browns this weekend against Miami. Going back to last season, Cover32.com (and linked here by Yahoo Sports) points out that Kessler will be the fifth QB to start for the Browns over the last five games.
