Roundup: Washington is a College Football Playoff contender

After a 44-6 smashing of Stanford, Washington is in Pat Forde’s College Football Playoff projections for Yahoo Sports. If you weren’t on the Husky hype train before Friday night, get on board.


Following a 47-6 pasting of Oregon State, Colorado football is ranked for the first time since 2005 – No. 21 in the AP poll and No. 23 in the coaches poll.


Is USC “back on track” after defeating Arizona State? That’s the question Kyle Bonagura poses after the Trojans’ 41-20 triumph over the Sun Devils to get to 2-3. Man, who woulda thought in this day and age that both Oregon and USC would be 2-3 in the same year?

Washington State
