Utah

Nice – Utah has signed a 10-year, $65 million extension with Under Armour, Kyle Goon reports. It’s a nice bump up in money for the school, and Goon has the details.

Arizona State

Jeff Metcalfe reports that Arizona State is postponing its final Sun Devil Stadium reconstruction. While some parts will still be completed after the 2016 season, additional fundraising has allowed for unforeseen enhancements on the east side that will have to wait until after the 2017 season.

UCLA

No. 20 UCLA women’s volleyball defeated No. 16 Oregon in five sets Wednesday night on Spike Night, and here are the highlights, putting the Bruins at 4-3 in conference play and in line for their first weekend sweep of the Pac-12 season.

Stanford

Don D’Addona of the magazine Swimming World preps us for Katie Ledecky’s Stanford swimming debut, as the Cardinal has a meet at Oregon State Friday. The Cardinal also has Simone Manuel on its roster.

Colorado

The Associated Press whips up this feature on Colorado running back Phillip Lindsay, aka the Tasmanian Devil (Mike MacIntyre gave him that nickname). He’s a big reason why the Buffs are 4-2 and contending in the Pac-12 South for the first time since joining the conference.

Oregon State

Danny Moran writes about how a two-week boot camp helped build team chemistry for Oregon State men’s basketball. I guess I’m more of a guy that would rather bond over a team movie outing instead of getting up at 6 a.m. for weights and high-intensity workouts, but I guess that’s why I was a Division I Gatorade-maker instead of a Division I athlete.

USC

Zach Helfand has this story on Max Browne transitioning into his role as USC’s backup quarterback. It sounds like he’s seriously considering transferring for next season.

Oregon

Oregon football coach Mark Helfrich is “concerned with right now,” instead of pondering what his future might be in Eugene. Andrew Greif has more in the link.

Washington

In the latest episode of the Dr. Saturday Podcast on Yahoo Sports, the hosts debate whether or not Washington is for real (yes, they think the Dawgs are contenders and not pretenders).

California

Greg Beacham lets us know that former Cal quarterback Jared Goff is studying defenses as he waits to make his NFL debut with the Los Angeles Rams. Sure doesn’t look like Goff will play anytime soon, especially since the Rams have gotten off to a 3-2 start.

Washington State

Most of the talk on the Palouse is about that Air Raid offense, but Washington State wide receiver Gabe Marks is happy with how the defense is playing, Jacob Thorpe notes. The Cougs held Stanford to just one offensive touchdown, and it was the last play of the game in a 42-16 beatdown of the Cardinal on The Farm.

Arizona

Bruce Pascoe tells us how Arizona basketball’s trip to Australia helped Kadeem Allen’s confidence. He did some work going up against Matthew Dellavedova and Patty Mills in exhibition games against the Australian national team.
