Nall, Thompson, Jackson earn weekly Conference honors

Nov 28, 2016

Offensive: Ryan Nall, So., RB, Oregon State

Ryan Nall carried the ball a career-high 31 times for 155 yards and a career-best four touchdowns in the Beavers’ 34-24 victory over Oregon, snapping an eight-game Civil War losing streak.
•
In addition, Nall had two receptions and a team-leading 34 receiving yards and 189 all-purpose yards.

Defensive: Tedric Thompson, Sr., DB, Colorado
In CU’s 27-22 Pac-12 South Division-clinching win over Utah, Thompson had four tackles (all solo, one for a loss), two interceptions, four passes broken up, three third down stops and a fourth down stop.
• His interception at the end of the first half extended CU’s nation-best streak to forcing at least one turnover to 25 straight games (Alabama is next with 24).
• His fourth quarter pick gave him seven on the season, tying him for the single-season best in CU history (matching Dick Anderson in 1967, Cullen Bryant in 1972).

Special Teams: Adoree’ Jackson, Jr., DB-WR-RET, USC
•
In USC's 45-27 win over Notre Dame, Jackson scored touchdowns via punt return, kickoff return and pass reception while totaling 291 all-purpose yards.
• Against the Irish, he broke open a tight 10-7 game late in the first half with a 55-yard scoring punt return. Then in the third quarter, he took a swing pass 52 yards for a touchdown and went 97 yards with a kickoff for a TD. He also had a 12-yard rush for a first down and on defense he made 2 tackles and 2 pass deflections.
• He became the first Trojan since records were available in 1958 to have punt and kick returns for TDs in the same game.
• He tied Nelson Agholor's school record with 4 career punt returns and now has scored 15 career touchdowns 4 different ways: 6 via reception, 4 punt return, 4 kickoff return, 1 interception return.
