SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The 2016 Pac-12 Football Championship Game Presented by 76®, to be played between No. 4 Washington and No. 8 Colorado, will include off-the-field activities and entertainment for fans inside and outside Levi’s® Stadium on Friday.

Starting at 3 p.m. PT, the 49ers’ “Faithful Mile” will be converted into the Pac-12 Plaza and will provide the ultimate pregame fan experience. The Pac-12 Plaza will give fans an opportunity to stop by the Pac-12 Networks lounge, interact with Pac-12 sponsors, and see performances by the participating teams’ bands, cheerleaders, and mascots.

Through the Pac-12’s partnership with the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE), the Pac-12 Plaza will feature RISE’s signature activation, “It Takes All Colors.” – an interactive photo booth that celebrates diverse athletes, coaches, and fans of all races standing together for a common goal at stadiums, arenas, and fields across the world.
Fans visiting the Pac-12 Plaza will also be invited to interact with Pac-12 partners like 76®, adidas, AT&T, GEICO, and Opus Bank. These activations will include photo opportunities, giveaways, and more. The Pac-12 Plaza will be located between Intel Gate A and Gate B and will be open from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. PT on Friday.

In-stadium pregame entertainment is set to start at 5:30 p.m. PT so fans should plan to find their seats early. Programming will include the Pac-12 Networks Sports Report Pregame Show with Yogi Roth, Lincoln Kennedy, and Guy Haberman as well as performances by both participating teams’ marching bands and spirit groups.

The national anthem will be performed by Tony Award Winner and San Francisco native Lena Hall, famous for her role in Hedwig and The Angry Inch on Broadway.

In addition to the entertainment options open to the public, the ticketed Pac-12 VIP Tailgate at California’s Great America will feature the first-ever Pac-12 Puppy “Tail”gate Party. Through a partnership with the East Bay SPCA, adoptable puppies will wear the colors of their favorite Pac-12 teams and interact with the guests.
