| • Played integral role in leading USC to wins at the Cypress Point Classic and the Gifford Collegiate before taking fifth at the Western Refining College All-American, in a small but elite field. • In his two rounds at the Gifford Collegiate, Hoey turned in a masterful performance to finish as the 36-hole medalist with a 12-under 132 (65-67). He turned in seven birdies without a bogey in the first round and followed it with a six-birdie second round, including four straight between 14 and 17.
