The five best moments from the UCLA basketball/gymnastics crossover
For many of us, tackling a new skill or trying out a new sport is a pretty clutch new year's resolution.
For UCLA's Monique Billings and Katelyn Ohashi, they've taken that to an entirely new level.

So maybe one of the cornerstones of No. 9 UCLA women's basketball isn't quite tuned up for gymnastics. And maybe...just maybe...the sophomore standout for the nation's preseason No. 4 women's gymnastics squad doesn't have the height for Pac-12 roundball.
But not for a lack of trying!
We've selected our five favorite moments from that video, in GIF form:
Katelyn tries to drive the lane. Billings is straight-up Mutombo. *finger wag*
2) With a little help from my friends!
When your vertical isn't good enough to touch the rim, a little piggyback ride does the trick.
3) "No, you wear it."
A for effort, but that's probably not going to fit Monique.
4) That's not how any of this works.
Some bodies just aren't built for the splits.
5) High five for life!
Because friends forever.
You can see both of these teamas on Pac-12 Networks this weekend! UCLA women's basketball takes on Washington State on Friday, Jan. 6 at 6 PT/7 MT, and the gymnastics team hosts No. 17 Arkansas on Saturday at 4 PT/5 MT on Pac-12 Los Angeles.
