Skinner, Price collect Pac-12 gymnastics weekly honors

Gymnast and Freshman / Newcomer of the Week: MyKayla Skinner, UTAH
• In her college gymnastics debut, Skinner won the all-around with a 39.55 and won three events before a crowd of 14,675 as the Red Rocks defeated Michigan 196.625 to195.525 in Salt Lake City on Saturday. 
• Her 39.55 all-around score was the fourth best in the nation on the opening weekend of competition. 
• Scored a 9.90 on vault, bars, and floor to win all three events. Placed second on the beam, scoring a 9.85.
• Skinner's 9.90 on bars tied for the fourth-highest bars score in the nation this weekend, and her 9.90 on floor tied for fifth. 

Specialist of the Week: Elizabeth Price, STANFORD
• In the Cardinal's season-opener at the NorCal Classic Monday night, junior standout Elizabeth Price led the way scoring a 9.950 on both the vault and the bars, winning both events.
• Price's vault score tied for the highest in the nation on the opening weekend of competition, while her bars score tied for second nationally. 
• Price also competed on the beam, scoring a 9.4.
