• Five Pac-12 teams appear in the national rankings this week, WASHINGTON leading the way at No. 8 in the Associated Press poll and No. 7 in the USA Today/WBCA poll, and STANFORD is No. 10 in both.

• No. 13/11 UCLA and USC start and cap the Pac-12 women’s basketball schedule this week. The Los Angeles rivalry series tips off on Pac-12 Network on Wednesday. The Bruins look to build on a home win streak that is the fourth-longest active streak in the nation. The Trojans look to snap a losing skid.

• A New Year’s day rematch between CALIFORNIA and No. 18/19 ARIZONA STATE is on the schedule this week. The first meeting in Tempe went to ASU in double overtime. The Sun Devils then take on the Cardinal for a top-20 clash on Sunday also on Pac-12 Network.

• The Huskies and WASHINGTON STATE also look to close out the rivalry series with the Cougs hosting UW on Sunday for both team’s only matchup of the week. That game will also be televised on the Pac-12 Network.

• Owning the No. 1 Conference RPI in the nation, the Pac-12 is the only league in the country with three teams in the top 10. 11 of the 12 squads have RPI in the top 100.

• The Pac-12’s all-time leading scorer already, Washington’s Kelsey Plum became the first Pac-12 player and the 12th NCAA player in women's basketball history to score 3,000 points for her career. She now ranks seventh all-time in NCAA history, passing players such as USC’s Cheryl Miller, Connecticut’s Maya Moore and Delaware’s Elena Della Donne.

• STANFORD’s Tara VanDerveer needs just five more victories to reach 1,000 for her career, which would make her just the second women’s basketball coach in NCAA history to achieve the milestone, and just the fourth among men’s and women’s coaches across all divisions.

• Plum was voted the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the second-straight week after posting her 11th 30-point game of the season last week. OREGON STATE’s Mikayla Pivec was voted Pac-12 Freshman of the Week.
