Pac-12 announces women's basketball players of the week

Player of the Week: Kelsey Plum, Washington
• 2 GP, 41.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg, .628 (27-43), .815 FT (22-27), 6 asst, 3 stl, 0 blk  
• Put on an impressive display in the Huskies’ 84-77 win over Utah in the final regular-season game of her career, pouring in 57 points to break the NCAA’s all-time scoring record NCAA.
• Set a new school and Pac-12 single-game scoring record with her 57 point performance.
• Set a new Pac-12 record for single-season scoring, tallying 979 points so far this season.
• Her 57 points Saturday ranks fifth in the NCAA for most points in a game, just three points shy of the NCAA single-game scoring record.
• In the 79-46 victory over Colorado, Plum led all scorers with 25 points and had a game-high six assists. The nation's leading scorer also grabbed five rebounds in the contest.
• It is the sixth time this season Plum has been voted player of the week and 43rd all-time honor for a Husky.

Freshman of the Week: Jaelyn Brown, California
• 2 GP, 14.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, .714 (10-14), .625 FT (5-8), 1 asst, 2 stl, 0 blk  
• Career-high 21 points off the bench in the Bears’ 56-71 loss to No. 10 Oregon State, going 7-for-9 from the field, 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and 4-for-4 from the foul line.
• Led all scorers on Sunday also adding four rebounds and an assist in 25 minutes of play.
• Washington's Chantel Osahor and Kelsey Plum are the only opposing Pac-12 players to score more points this year at Gill Coliseum this season.
• Scored eight points in 25 minutes off the bench in the Bears’ 55-49 victory over Oregon, while also grabbing three offensive rebounds.
