Roundup: Arizona State students cheer UNC on to national title
Well it turns out there was a pretty big Pac-12 presence at the men’s basketball national championship game last night after all, as UNC filled out its student section with Arizona State students and made them wear Tar Heel school colors (For The Win). Hey, it's better than Arizona winning a natty, right?

Oregon State infielder Nick Madrigal was named Pac-12 Baseball Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. He helped the Beavs beat Saint Mary’s and sweep Stanford by hitting .400 in the four games, as the top-ranked Beavers have won a school-record 19 straight games.
Washington’s Miki Kobayashi was named Pac-12 Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after picking up singles wins against UCLA and USC.

Zach Helfand of the Los Angeles Times tells us that USC wide receiver Deontay Burnett is tearing it up in spring practice thus far for the Trojans. The top returning option at receiver for USC is a “shut-up-and-work guy,” as head coach Clay Helton puts it.
Despite a grand salami from outfielder Justin Harrer, Washington State baseball lost to Pacific 14-8 on Monday in Stockton, dropping the Cougs to 14-12 overall.
