The Pac-12 Conference outdoor track and field athlete of the week honors for the week of April 3-9:

Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Roseville, Calif.

Sotomayor ran the fifth fastest 1,500-meters in the country to win the event at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational. The Roseville, Calif., native used a nearly nine second personal best to clock a 3:42.60. With that time, the UCLA 1,500m squad ranks first in the country as an event group according to the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I National Squad Rankings.

ALSO NOMINATED: Ashtyn Davis, California; Jaron Thomas, Colorado; Isaiah Brandt-Sims, Stanford; Ricky Morgan Jr., USC

Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Kendall Ellis, USC
Pembroke Pines, Fla.

Ellis won the 400-meter dash at the Battle on the Bayou featuring LSU, Penn State and Purdue with a meet-record time of 50.98. Her time is the collegiate leader and moves her from sixth to second on USC's all-time list in the event.
