Pac-12 Softball Players of the Week for May 9

Player of the Week: Jenna Lilley, Oregon
• 3 GP, 1 R, 3 RBI, .714 AVG
• The Junior went 5-for-7 (.714) as the Ducks swept a non-conference series with No. 2 ranked Florida State.
• In the Saturday doubleheader, Lilley reached base in all six plate appearances. She went 4-for-4 with a walk and a HBP.
• On Sunday, Lilley went 1-for-3, helping the Ducks finish off the sweep.
• Lilley did not strike out on the weekend and posted a .778 on-base percentage.
• Playing third base, Lilley did not make an error with six assists and one putout.

Pitcher and Freshman of the Week: Maggie Balint, Oregon
• 2 GP, 9.0 IP, 2-0 record, 0.78 ERA, 11K
• Picked up two wins as the No. 5 Ducks swept a three-game series with No. 2 Florida State.
• Balint started the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, allowed just one run on three hits in seven innings with seven strikeouts.
• In Sunday's series finale, Balint entered in the eighth inning with FSU runners at second and third and no outs. The freshman worked out of the jam with a strikeout, groundout and flyout.
• FSU advanced a runner to third after an error with two outs in the ninth but Balint recorded a strikeout to end that threat as well.
• Balint owns a 19-3 record with a 1.13 ERA this season. She has 135 strikeouts and 33 walks in 111.2 innings pitched.
