Roundup: Legendary Arizona State football coach Frank Kush dies at 88

Jeff Metcalfe reports that legendary Arizona State football coach Frank Kush has died Thursday at the age of 88. Kush, who was head coach at ASU from 1958-79 and won a school-record 176 games, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1995.

Oregon sophomore Payton Pritchard was named to the 2017 Team USA U19 World Cup team's final roster on Thursday. The Americans will go for a third straight gold July 1-9 in Cairo, Egypt. 

The NBA Draft is here, and Mike Rutherford of SB Nation opines that Markelle Fultz likely going No. 1 overall shows that you don’t have to win in college to be a top pick. The Huskies were an abysmal 2-16 in conference play this year and 9-22 overall.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers have offered Chauncey Billups a long-term contract to be the team’s president of basketball operations. The Athletic reported that it is a five-year deal. Billups is still mulling the offer as of Thursday morning.
