Roundup: Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball lead Lakers to Summer League title

Congrats to the Los Angeles Lakers for winning the 2017 NBA Summer League title, and Kyle Kuzma was named Summer League championship game MVP after going for 30 points (6-of-10 from 3-point range) and 10 rebounds in the Lake Show’s 110-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball was named NBA Summer League MVP overall for averaging 16.3 points, 9.3 assists (tops in Summer League), 7.7 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest.

Jessica Allister was named Stanford softball head coach, AD Bernard Muir announced Tuesday. Allister was most recently the head coach at Minnesota, leading the Gophers to a whopping 56-5 record and No. 1 national ranking at one point last season. Great hire on paper by the Card.
