UCLA

UCLA football interim head coach Jedd Fisch says he wants to be the full-time replacement for Jim Mora, and Kyle Bonagura has more on the subject in the preceding link.

Oregon State

According to Kerry Eggers of the Portland Tribune and mentioned here by Zach Barnett of NBC Sports’ College Football Talk, Oregon State has interviewed the following people for the head coaching job – interim head coach Cory Hall, Cal offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin and Washington offensive coordinator Jonathan Smith.

Washington State

California

Don Coleman scored a career-high 35 points in Cal men’s basketball’s 92-82 loss to No. 6 Wichita State. The Golden Bears led for a good chunk of the game and were up 18 at one point in the second half before falling behind.

Arizona State

Arizona State’s Tra Holder was named Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 23.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.0 steals in wins over San Diego State, Northern Arizona and UC Irvine.

Stanford

Stanford men’s basketball lost to defending champion North Carolina 96-72 at Maples Pavilion Monday night, and there’s the AP recap for you on GoStanford.com. Good to see Maples Pavilion filled up and loud again.

Colorado

Colorado women’s basketball forward Annika Jank was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on Monday after averaging 12.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in wins over Florida Atlantic and Miami.

Oregon

Five-star prospect Bol Bol committed to Oregon men’s basketball, he announced in a column for The Players’ Tribune on Monday (linked here by CBS Sports). Bol, a 7-1 center, is the son of former NBA player Manute Bol.

Arizona

With Arizona and Arizona State set to meet on the gridiron Saturday afternoon with second place in the Pac-12 South on the line, Greg Hansen of the Arizona Daily Star takes us down memory lane to the time that an Arizona State student manager “kidnapped” three Arizona football players to get them to play for the Sun Devils back in 1937.

USC
