Rivalry matchups highlight Pac-12 Women's Basketball slate

• Rivalry play begins this week, featuring home-and-home clashes between No. 8 OREGON and No. 22 OREGON STATE, as well as WASHINGTON and WASHINGTON STATE. All four matchups will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
• The Ducks are the only team undefeated in league play, also boasting an undefeated home record this season. OSU has lost just one game on its home court this season and has not lost to its rival in 13-straight meetings. The Huskies also have a significant streak over the Cougs, winning the last five matchups.
• Five Pac-12 teams are ranked in the Associated Press poll this week, the Ducks receiving a No. 7 ranking, the best in program history. UCLA moved one spot up to No. 13, OSU is back in the top 20 at No. 18, CALIFORNIA also moved up, coming in at No. 21 and ARIZONA STATE ranks 22nd. STANFORD is receiving votes.
• Behind Oregon, Stanford is second in the standings following a four-way tie for third. Cal and Stanford travel to UCLA and USC for the regular-season rematches on Pac-12 Networks.
• CALIFORNIA’s Kristine Anigwe is the Pac-12 Player of the Week after averaging 28.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per game, including a 30-point, 17-rebound outing. UCLA’s Michaela Onyenwere was tabbed the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, averaging a double-double in two wins.
• Four Pac-12 teams have assist-to-turnover ratios in the top 25 in the nation, ASU leading the way at No. 6 (1.51). Four league teams also boast shooting percentages in the top 25 as OSU and UO rank third and fourth in the category.
• Leading the nation in statistical categories are ASU’s Reili Richardson who boasts the best assist-to-turnover ratio in the nation at 4.63, and Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu, who boasts four triple-doubles this season.
• UCLA’s Jordin Canada became just the third player in Pac-12 history to record 700 career assists last week, also becoming the first to record 1,800 points and 700 assists in league history. Threatening the career assists mark that has stood since 1990-91, she needs just 57 more to match the record. Teammate Monique Billings is looking to become just the 21st player in Conference history with 1,000 rebounds.
• Colorado’s Ceal Barry and USC’s Tina Thompson are among the 10 finalists for the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2018. Barry was the head coach of the Buffs for 22 seasons and Thompson was an All-American and the first player drafted into the WNBA.
