Utah

March Madness isn’t just confined to the NCAA Tournament… Utah is off to the NIT semifinals after outlasting Saint Mary’s in overtime largely thanks to the 3-point heroics of Sedrick Barefield in the extra session (Lynn Worthy on the recap). You gotta check out Larry Krystkowiak’s locker-room dance after the win (Utah Diehards).

Arizona

Arizona men’s basketball head coach Sean Miller is not a candidate for the Pitt job, he said in a statement Wednesday. Miller is a Pittsburgh alum and 412 native.

USC

Sam Darnold impressed at USC pro day on Wednesday, choosing to throw despite rainy conditions. It’s looking more and more like Darnold will be a Brown next year.

Stanford

The Associated Press’ Janie McCauley has this story on the in-season resurgence of Stanford women’s basketball in 2017-18. The Cardinal went 6-6 in non-conference action against a super-tough schedule and without a couple key contributors in stretches before ripping off a 14-3 Pac-12 record and nabbing their 11th straight trip to the Sweet 16.

Oregon

Check out Holly Rowe’s conversation with Sabrina Ionescu. The Ducks play Central Michigan in the Sweet 16.

UCLA

Time to watch this MTVU feature on Monique Billings, entitled “UCLA senior forward shows women can dunk and wear heels.”

Colorado

Graduating Colorado men’s basketball star George King will play in the NABC College All-Star Game March 30 as part of the Final Four festivities in San Antonio before heading out to the Portsmouth Invitational Showcase in April (BuffZone.com).

Arizona State

Jeremy Cluff of The Arizona Republic looks at where Arizona State players could go in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Washington

Adam Jude whips up this Washington football spring preview of the offensive line. It could very well be the best bunch of big uglies in the Pac-12, Jude thinks.

Washington State

Stefanie Loh of The Seattle Times gives us a Washington State football spring preview of the defense. Much different staff on that side of the ball for Mike Leach.

Oregon State

Bob Lundeberg of the Corvallis Gazette Times features Oregon State baseball’s Andy Armstrong, who has made seven straight starts at second base and is hitting .409 during the course of his current seven-game winning streak with Nick Madrigal out of the lineup with a broken wrist.

California

Cal beach volleyball will put its 11-match win streak to the test this weekend at the Pac-12 South Tournament in Santa Monica. The Golden Bears, ranked 16th in the nation, will face No. 2 UCLA, No. 4 USC, No. 11 Arizona and No. 19 Washington.
