Wise’s mother was beaten and used against her will as a sex worker for almost seven years. Fortunately, Wise says she wasn’t sexually or emotionally abused herself.

The NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals are complete, and Oregon State’s Nicole Schroeder won the individual title at the Madison Regional by shooting a 10-under 206 over three rounds.
