Ducks Announce Nonconference Schedule

EUGENE, Ore. – Trips to Madison Square Garden and the state of Texas highlight the Oregon men's basketball 2018-19 nonconference schedule. The Ducks will face Iowa and either Syracuse or Connecticut in New York City and will play road games at Baylor and Houston.
 
Oregon will host Western Oregon in an exhibition on Nov. 1 before opening the regular season Nov. 6 at Matthew Knight Arena against Portland State.
 
The Ducks will host Eastern Washington on Nov. 9 as part of the 2K Empire Classic campus rounds.
 
The 2K Empire Classic championship rounds will be Nov. 15-16 in New York City. The Ducks will meet Iowa in the semifinals, and will play either Connecticut or Syracuse the next day.
 
Oregon will return to Eugene for games against Green Bay (Nov. 20) and Texas Southern (Nov. 26). The Ducks then head to Houston on Dec. 1 to open the Cougars' new Fertitta Center.
 
The longest homestand of the season follows the trip to Houston. Oregon will host Nebraska-Omaha (Dec. 8), San Diego (Dec. 12), Boise State (Dec. 15) and Florida A&M (Dec. 18). Florida A&M is coached by former UO assistant director of operations Robert McCullum.
 
The Ducks finish the nonconference schedule with road games at Baylor on Dec. 21 and Boise State on Dec. 29.
 
The dates of Pac-12 games, as well as all game times and television information, will be announced later this month.
