BOSTON– The Utah women's cross country team placed third at the sixth-annual Battle in Beantown Friday afternoon in Boston. Freshman
Scarlet Dale led the way for the Utes as she finished in 14th place.
"I thought our kids ran great, ran very tough, but the race went off very fast and we were trying to be a little more conservative then we were but we had to stay in the race," head coach
Kyle Kepler explained. "I thought our kids did a great job particularly our front four early in the race."
Dale finished the five-kilometer course in a time of 17:39.7. Coming in behind Dale was junior
Sarah Feeny and redshirt freshman
