LAKE FOREST, Ill./ERIE, Colo. - The Bruins on Monday completed their second team tournament of the season at the Windon Memorial Classic, while a quartet of individuals finished up their first two rounds at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational.
 
For the second tournament in a row, senior Jack Ireland was the top Bruin finisher, tying for eighth at 2-under 214. He shot a 1-over 73 on Monday, posting two birdies on No. 8 and 13 and three bogeys. As a team, UCLA placed seventh at 9-over 873 after shooting an 11-over 299 at Knollwood Club.
 
Junior Hidetoshi Yoshihara and freshman Sean Maruyama both tied for 20th (+2, 218), each shooting a 1-over 73 in their final round. Yoshihara made four birdies on No. 3, 5, 6 and 10, three bogeys and one double, while Maruyama, who was playing as an individual, had an eagle-2 on the par-4 13th, three birdies on No. 2, 8 and 16, two bogeys and two doubles.
 
Sophomore Eddy Lai tied for 24th (+3, 219), recording a 4-over 76 on Monday. He made one birdie on the sixth hole, three bogeys and a double. Senior Cole Madey tied for 43rd (+7, 223). He shot a final-round, 5-over 77, making back-to-back birdies on No. 5 and 6, five bogeys and a double. Sophomore Devon Bling tied for 47th (+8, 224), notching a 6-over 78 in his final 18 with three birdies (No. 6, 10 and 13), five bogeys and two doubles. Senior Patrick Murphy, playing as an individual, tied for 69th (+14, 230), making two birdies (No. 10 and 13), four bogeys and a double in a final-round, 4-over 76. Junior Harrison Mahon, also playing as an individual, tied for 79th (+17, 233), scoring a 10-over 82 with two birdies (No. 10 and 9), four bogeys and four doubles.
 
At the Colorado National Golf Club, freshman Bryan Wiyang Teoh is tied for 17th after two rounds, shooting back-to-back, 1-over 73s. In his morning round, he made four birdies (No. 18, 4, 10 and 12) and five bogeys. In the afternoon, he made three birdies (No. 9, 10 and 14) and four bogeys.
 
Freshman Rory Feng opened with a 3-over 75, producing three birdies (No. 17, 9 and 12), four bogeys and a double. He shot a 2-over 74 in round two, posting two birdies on the 15th and seventh and four bogeys. Feng is tied for 31st (+5, 149). Senior Phil Delisi posted a 4-over 76 in the morning, making back-to-back birdies on the first and second to go with six bogeys. He shot a 2-over 74 in round two, tallying three birdies (No. 12, 13 and 15), three bogeys and a double, putting him in a tie for 40th (+6, 150). Freshman Ahmed Ali tallied a 1-over 73 in round one, making two birdies on No. 12 and 17 and three bogeys. He shot a 6-over 78 in the afternoon on four bogeys and a double, placing him in a tie for 46th (+7, 151).
 
Tuesday's action will be a 7:15 a.m. PT/8:15 a.m. CT shotgun start on holes No. 14-17 in the order of Teoh, Feng, Delisi and Ali.
