Oregon

In his most recent article, John Canzano writes that Oregon’s overtime win over Washington was a program-defining moment for the Mario Cristobal era of Oregon football.

Washington State

The Ducks will now take all those good feelings to Washington State, where they will encounter a bright national spotlight with ESPN’s College GameDay coming to Pullman for the first time in the show’s history (SB Nation). Certainly won’t be the first time we see a Washington State flag on College GameDay though.

USC

It wasn’t all good news to come out of the Trojans’ 31-20 win over Colorado Saturday night, because USC linebacker Porter Gustin will miss the rest of the season with a fractured ankle, head coach Clay Helton said Sunday (Yahoo Sports).

Colorado

On the Colorado side of things, the Buffs tried a 2-point conversion late in the fourth quarter because they thought the previous play resulted in a first-and-goal and not a touchdown. Apparently, it wasn’t announced as a touchdown in the stadium, according to some reporters (Yahoo Sports).

UCLA

The Bruins finally gave Chip Kelly his first win in his new digs, and Thuc Nhi Nguyen reviews UCLA football’s 37-7 win over Cal. The Bruins also snapped a 12-game road losing streak in the process and will look to get to 2-5 when they host Arizona Saturday night.

California

Sure was an ugly loss for the Golden Bears, and Rusty Simmons writes that Cal’s chances of making a bowl game are fading after the loss to UCLA. At 3-3, the Bears need three more wins and only face one team with a losing record the rest of the way (at Oregon State next weekend).

Oregon State

A leftover from 2018 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Media Day -- Nick Daschel's Oregon State men's basketball season primer. The Beavers will be leaning on their experience to try to blow past those 10th-place expectations.

Arizona

Check out highlights of the Arizona men’s basketball Red-Blue Game, with Daron Sutton and Don MacLean providing the voices (Pac-12 Networks recap).

Stanford

Stanford women’s volleyball honored Pac-12 Networks analyst Tammy Blackburn on the Cardinal’s Pink Night to raise breast cancer awareness. Great to see that Tammy won her battle with breast cancer and is in remission (FWIW, Stanford swept Washington in the match to remain undefeated in league play).

Washington

The loss to Oregon was certainly rough, but hopefully Husky fans can take solace in the fact that Matt Norlander of CBS Sports thinks Washington men’s basketball will end its NCAA Tournament drought this season. The Dawgs haven’t been since 2011 (USC and Oregon also get some love as teams making it back in after missing out in 2018).

Arizona State

Bye week in the rear-view, Arizona State football is looking forward to its Thursday night game with Stanford, writes Michelle Garnder of The Arizona Republic.

Utah

Christopher Kamrani of The Salt Lake Tribune writes that Utah quarterback Tyler Huntley “is having fun again,” and it’s certainly showing in recent games. Impressive 42-10 smackdown of Arizona Friday night.
