STANFORD, Calif. --- The Husky doubles team of Stacey Fung and Nika Zupancic fell in their semifinal match to Madurawe and Yee from Stanford 5-7, 4-6 on Monday at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships.

Fung and Zupancic are the first Husky duo to reach the doubles semfinals since Miki Kobayashi and Grace Ysidora in 2015.

The loss ends the ITA Northwest Regionals for the Huskies, however the showing for Fung and Zupancic was strong as they beat the first and sixth seeded doubles teams en route to their semifinal finish.

Madurawe and Yee will take on Bright and Dunk from Cal in the championship match on Tuesday. On the singles side it is an all Stanford final as second seeded Gordon and ninth seeded Lampl will square off in the championship match.
