Will he stay? Will he go? Nobody knows, mainly because Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert hasn’t “thought three seconds about” the NFL Draft, notes Ryan Thorburn of The Register-Guard.

Arizona State

The Pac-12 Conference fined Arizona State defensive coordinator Danny Gonzales $5,000 for criticizing the officiating in the Sun Devils’ loss to Stanford last Thursday night.

USC

Graham Hays of espnW features USC women’s soccer freshman Penelope Hocking, who he has in the running for player of the year. Hocking scored five goals over the weekend in a sweep of the Oregon schools and now has 12 for the season, second most among power-five conference players.

Oregon State

Oregon State men’s basketball forward Payton Dastrup will have to sit out this season after transferring from BYU, head coach Wayne Tinkle said Wednesday. Dastrup petitioned to be able to play immediately but that request was denied (The Register-Guard).

Washington

Washington football coach Chris Petersen has been at the center of some fake SEC drama due an imaginary quote attributed to him by some random Twitter person. Adam Jude lets us know that the CBS broadcast team for the Alabama-Tennessee game mentioned a tidbit about Petersen and the Dawgs scheduling to play Alabama. In actuality, Petersen never said that.

Colorado

Check out this feature of Colorado linebacker Davion Taylor on “The Drive.” The full episode airs Nov. 4 at 8:15 p.m. PT/9:15 p.m. MT. This is incredible – Taylor only got to play in one high school football game due to religious reasons.

UCLA

Thuc Nhi Nguyen notes that UCLA football is very much in contention for the Pac-12 South heading into its game against Utah.

Washington State

Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports has an interesting piece on Mike Leach and continuing his winning ways at Washington State.

Stanford

Stanford fans can commiserate over this link, as Sam Cooper of Yahoo Sports believes that Andrew Luck and Christian McCaffrey are two of the five best players to not win the Heisman Trophy this decade.

Arizona

Ryan Kelapire of AZ Desert Swarm gives us this Q&A with Arizona women’s soccer forward Brynn Moga, a former defender who scored two goals last weekend in helping the Wildcats to wins over the Washington schools.
