UTAH’s Skinner, Cal’s Clausi and UCLA’s Ohashi land this week’s Pac-12 gymnast of the week awards

GYMNAST OF THE WEEK: MyKayla Skinner, Jr., Utah (Gilbert, Arizona)
• Won the all-around (39.600 points), bars (9.95 points) and beam (9.925 points) to help the Utes stay undefeated on the road.
• Has won every all-around and bar competition this season.
• Moved into fourth place on Utah’s career wins list with 91.

 

SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK: Katelyn Ohashi, Jr., UCLA (Seattle, Wash)
Scored 9.975 points, which won both the beam and floor.
Averages 9.950 points on beam and 9.969 points on floor.
The Bruins took first place in four out of the five events on Saturday.

 

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Milan Clausi, Fr., Cal (Salt Lake City, Utah)
• Scored a career-high 9.90 points on vault and 9.775 points on floor.
• Finished in the top five on vault (first) and floor (fourth).
• Captured her three event title this year, her second on vault.
