Pac-12 announces Wrestler of the Week

Nathan Traxler, Stanford (RSo., 197 pounds – St. Charles, Ill.)
• Redshirt sophomore Nathan Traxler knocked off No. 13 Eric Schultz of Nebraska, 7-6, after the second set of tiebreakers. He won based on criteria with four seconds of riding time to pick up his second Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week honor this season.
• Traxler, who is ranked No. 12 nationally by InterMat, improved to 26-5 overall and is 12-1 in duals.
• The team captain earned NWCA Academic All-America honors last year and is a computer science major.

Also nominated: Josh Shields (165), Arizona State (currently ranked No. 4 in the nation, earned his 14th straight win, a 18-6 MD over Joe La Rosa (Cal Poly) to help lead the Sun Devils to a 32-7 victory)
