Pac-12 gymnastics gears up for first-ever neutral site championship
SAN FRANCISCO - Pac-12 Gymnastics will face non-conference competition leading up to the first-ever neutral site Pac-12 Championship at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah on Saturday, Mar. 23.
- Kyla Ross earned her third perfect 10 on vault and her fourth perfect 10 on uneven bars this year, and Katelyn Ohashi captured her fourth 10 of the season on floor exercise. The Bruins just narrowly missed their eleventh team win on Sunday, falling to No. 1 Oklahoma by two-tenths of a point, 197.775-197.575.
- Fueled by the excitement of Senior Day, the No. 4 Utes recorded their best score of the season and held off No. 8 Michigan, 197.975-197.350 in a top 10 battle in Salt Lake City.

PAC-12 TEAM NOTES
ARIZONA - No. 28 Arizona took home the gold as they earned a season-high 196.450 at a quad meet with Texas Women’s University, Centenary College, and Air Force on Sunday ... Christina Berg impressed the judges with a season and career-high score of 9.975 on the uneven bars to place first in the event ... Maddi Leydin posted a career-high 39.350 overall score, placing first in the all-around (39.350), vault (9.875), and floor (9.900) ... The GymCats will head to the East Coast next Sunday for their final road meet of the season as they take on North Carolina State, George Washington, and Texas Women’s University.
ARIZONA STATE - Behind three individual event titles, No. 21 Arizona State surpassed Cornell and Yale to score its best road total with a 196.150 and secure second place in the quad meet at Penn State on Saturday ... Corinne Belkoff scored a 9.900 for the first time in her career on floor to win the event title and Morgan Wilson won the vault title also with a 9.900 ... The third Sun Devil crown went to sophomore Cairo Leonard-Baker after she scored a 9.925 on the uneven bars... The Sun Devils will compete in another road quad meet next week with No. 6 Denver, No. 18 Nebraska, and Pittsburgh.
CALIFORNIA - The 14th-ranked Golden Bears used their best uneven bars set of the year to spark a season-best 196.975 and record the program’s fifth-highest team score in school history, defeating UC Davis (195.450) and Sacramento State (192.625) at The Nest on Friday ... Cal tallied its fourth-highest bar score in history with a 49.400 lead by Emi Watterson who scored a 9.95 to win the event ... Milan Clausi and Kyana George shared the vault title with a pair of 9.875s and George also won the floor crown with a 9.90 ... The Golden Bears will wrap up regular-season road action next Friday as they take on San Jose State.
OREGON STATE - No. 15 Oregon State continued its winning streak into week four by defeating Alaska Anchorage and Bowling Green on Friday night at Gill Coliseum. The Beavers took control of the tri-meet from the start, finishing with a score of 195.825 to Alaska’s 193.450 and BGSU’s 189.500 ... OSU claimed three event titles with Mariana Colussi-Palaez winning the uneven bars (9.875), Madi Dagen dominating the balance beam (9.900), and Isis Lawery winning the floor exercise (9.925) ... Oregon State goes on its final regular season road trip when the Beavers take on the No. 4 Tigers in a Friday night dual meet.
STANFORD - No. 23 Stanford earned its first Pac-12 victory of the season on Feb. 24 by defeating No. 25 Arizona, 196.525-195.250 ... The Cardinal swept every individual crown with Rachael Flam, Kyla Bryant, and Wesley Stephenson all scoring 9.875 to win vault, bars, and beam, respectively, and Bryant also winning floor with a 9.925 ... Stanford will compete again on March 10 when it travels to Los Angeles to compete against No. 2 UCLA.
UCLA - With No. 2 UCLA and No. 1 Oklahoma tied heading into the final rotation in last Sunday’s meet, the Sooners pulled out five 9.90+ scores on floor to hand the Bruins their first loss of the season by two-tenths of a point, 197.775-197.575 ... The Bruins scored a total of three perfect 10s, with Kyla Ross earning her third on vault and fourth on uneven bars this year, and Katelyn Ohashi capturing her fourth on floor exercise ... UCLA will return home for its final two regular season meets of the year, hosting No. 24 Stanford on Sunday and Utah State on Saturday.

Mykayla Skinner won or tied for four titles, pushing her past 100 victories in her career. Skinner’s 103 wins in just three seasons puts her at third in school history just behind Ashley Postell (120 total wins) and Theresa Kulikowski (112 total wins) ... The crowd of 14,343 in the Huntsman Center on Saturday gave Utah its ninth all-women’s sports attendance title. The Utes averaged 14,842 fans per meet this season, the fifth-best attendance record in school history ... Utah will face No. 8 Georgia next Saturday before heading to the Pac-12 Championships at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.
WASHINGTON - The Washington GymDawgs fought hard in their first tri meet of the season, taking second just behind the No. 13 Boise State Broncos ... Evanni Roberson won the all-around event title for the fourth time this year with a career-high 39.500 ... Washington shattered its season-high on vault and bars with team scores of 49.300 and 49.425. The bars score was the highest the Huskies have earned since 2004 ... Washington will finish its home season next week, hosting two home meets: one on Friday against Sacramento State and Iowa on International Women’s Day, and one on Sunday against Southern Utah where Washington will honor its seniors on Senior and Alumni Day.
