STANFORD, Calif. – No. 3 Stanford begins its 2019 spring championship season at home this weekend with a dual against Oregon State, starting at 9 a.m.
Earlier this fall, the Cardinal captured first place in both the 8+ and 4+ collegiate division at the historic Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts.
Last spring season, Stanford finished third at the Pac-12 Rowing Championships and fourth at the NCAA Championship, giving the Cardinal its third consecutive top-five finish in the NCAA Championships.
Stanford was just as impressive in the classroom last season, with 18 members of the program earning Pac-12 All-Academic honors, the second most in the Pac-12. Over the last five seasons, the Cardinal has totaled 95 all-academic selections.
Stanford's home slate continues on March 30-31, as the Cardinal hosts the Pac-12 Invitational in Redwood City, California.
