ST. MARY'S CITY, Md./ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Stanford sailing won for the third time this Spring with a first-place finish at the St. Mary's Team Race over the weekend. The Cardinal also finished 12th at the Navy Women's in Annapolis.
Stanford topped a field of 10 schools at the regatta in St. Mary's City, Maryland with an 8-1 record. After a few postponements, the teams completed a complete round robin on Sunday. The Cardinal was led by skipper

Kathryn Booker. Stanford's only setback was to Hobart & William Smith, who finished in a tie for second with Brown at 7-2.
Stanford won the Bryson Women's regatta to start the Spring and also won the McIntyre Race two weeks ago. The Cardinal has finished first or second in all four team race regattas this spring.
At the Navy Women's, Stanford was 12th among the 18 schools with 251 points. Yale was tops with 78 points. Skipper

Following finals week, Stanford will head to the Szambecki Team Race hosted by Old Dominion, the Friis Team Race in Bristol, Rhode Island, and the South Designate in Long Beach, California, March 23-24.
