WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah --  California women's gymnastics began its postseason slate by posting a 196.575 to take fourth at the Pac-12 Women's Gymnastics Championships Saturday evening at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

Top-seeded UCLA repeated as Pac-12 champion, winning with a 198.400, and Utah was the runner-up with a 198.025. Oregon State took third with a 196.600.

The Bears finished ahead of Arizona State (196.400), Washington (196.175), Stanford (195.925) and Arizona (193.900).

Kyana George tallied a season-high all-around total with a 39.450, which included two 9.90 events, and two Bears finished within the top three on an event. Milan Clausi tied for third on vault with a 9.90, and Emi Watterson matched her career-high 9.95 on bars to share second place.

Starting on floor, back-to-back 9.90s in the middle of the lineup highlighted Cal's high-energy opening rotation. After she moved from the leadoff to the No. 3 spot and earned a 9.90 in last week's regular-season finale, Seilnacht once again matched her career-high 9.90 score. George followed with a 9.90 of her own, helping the Bears to a 49.175 team total and third-place position after the first rotation.

Vault featured standout performances from a pair of Bear freshmen. Bordas led the rotation off by setting a career-high 9.80 before classmate Clausi, ranked sixth among all Pac-12 gymnasts on the event, landed her Yurchenko 1.5 for a 9.90. The duo contributed to a 49.025 vault rotation by Cal.

Three stick-solid landings powered the Golden Bears to their fifth-highest score on the apparatus in school history, tying a 49.375. George started the sequence off in the No. 2 spot by matching her career-high 9.90, and freshman Talitha Jones stuck her release for a 9.85. Next up, Emi Watterson logged her third 9.95 in the last four outings, matching her career-best total once again.

Cal completed a fourth-straight rotation with a 49.0 or higher, tallying exactly a 49.0 on beam to wrap up the night. George and Bordas paced Cal with a pair of 9.80s.

Next up, the Golden Bears await their selection to one of four NCAA Regional sites. The NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships selection show is set for Monday at 2 p.m. PT on NCAA.com.
