Beavers Set for Second Round Matchup with Gonzaga

THE GAME: The No. 11 Oregon State women's basketball team will take on Gonzaga in the second round the NCAA Tournament at Gill Coliseum. The game will be played at 6 p.m. on Monday.

FOLLOW ALONG: Monday's game will air live on ESPN with Tiffany Greene and Mary Murphy on the call. Viewers in the state of Oregon can watch the game in its entirety, while the majority of the nation will get whip-around coverage. The game can be streamed in full anywhere on Watch ESPN. OSU vs. GONZAGA: Oregon State and Gonzaga have met just three times in program history, with two of those meetings coming in the postseason. The Bulldogs took the last meeting 76-64 in the second round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The Beavers' last win in the series came in the WNIT in 2004.

WHAT'S UP NEXT: The winner of Monday's game will advance to the Albany Regional, and will play a Sweet 16 game on Friday vs. Louisville.

QUICK HITTERS: 
- Oregon State is 141-30 since the start of the 2014-15 season, the seventh-best record in the nation over that span, trailing only UConn, Notre Dame, Baylor, Maryland, South Carolina and Louisville.
- This is the sixth-straight season the Beavers have made the NCAA Tournament. Saturday's win over Boise State was the Beavers' 11th win over that stretch.

- The Beavers' four highest win totals have all come over the last four seasons (27 in 2014-15, 32 in 2015-16, 31 in 2016-17, 26 in 2017-18).
- Oregon State has already tallied 25 wins this season, the fifth-highest win total in program history.

- The Beavers have been ranked in every USA Today/WBCA Coaches' poll, dating back to the 2013-14 postseason rankings. Oregon State is one of five teams in the nation to be ranked every week over that period, joining UConn, Notre Dame, Baylor, and Maryland.

- OSU's highest ever ranking came at the end of the 2015-16 campaign, when the Beavers came in at No. 2 in the WBCA Coaches Poll.

- 2017 John R. Wooden Pac-12 Coach of the Year, becoming one of five coaches in conference history to win the honor multiple times.
- Record at Oregon State is 204-96  making him the second-winningest coach in Oregon State history. Aki Hill holds the Oregon State wins record with 274.
- Rueck engineered an accelerated turnaround at Oregon State, bringing the program into national prominence during his eight seasons as head coach.
- Prior to joining Oregon State, Rueck served as head coach at George Fox in Newberg, Ore., where he built the program into a Division III national power, winning an NCAA title in 2009.
- Rueck's teams have consistently been known for outstanding defense. The Beavers have allowed 57.1 points per game over the course of his tenure. George Fox allowed just 48.3 points per contest in 2009-10, Rueck's final year there, and set a school record with 45.4 points allowed under Rueck in 2007-08.
