Pac-12 announces Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kelsey Huff, So., M, USC (Eastport, N.Y.)

• Tallied a trio of hat tricks in No. 14 USC’s three league victories over then-No. 20 Stanford (10-9, 11-10) and California (16-4) last week.
​• Scored the game-winning goal in overtime against No. 20 Stanford to push USC to its ninth-straight victory for the third-longest win-streak in school history.
​• Added eight ground balls and six caused turnovers while landing 14-of-19 shots on goal.
​• Tied her single game career-high five points with four goals and one assist at Stanford on Sunday.
​• The offensive force has totaled six hat tricks so far, matching her freshman season total, to rank seventh in school history with 12 in her career.
​• First-career Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor and USC’s third offensive nod since last season. It also marks the third time the Trojans have swept the weekly honors (2019 March 18; 2018 March 19).

Averaged 10.67 saves per game in No. 14 USC’s wins over then-No. 20 Stanford (10-9, 11-10) and California (16-4) last week to extend the Trojans’ third-longest win streak in program history to nine games.
​• Equaled the second-most saves in a game in USC program history with a career-high 17 in the 10-9 win over Stanford.
​• Came up huge in net for the Trojans, making eight saves and tallying five ground balls in a thrilling 11-10 overtime win at Stanford for USC’s first-ever overtime road victory.
​• Earns second Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week nod this season (March 18) and USC’s fifth defensive honor since the inaugural 2018 Pac-12 season.
